How to automatically switch from light to dark mode on iOS

Apple iOS 14 provides users the ability to automatically switch from dark mode to light mode based on a schedule given. Using dark mode in the evening is not only fantastic because it saves battery, but also gives you a rich UI-based system to run all of your apps. The display will then switch back automatically to light mode in the morning.

Here is how to schedule an automatic switch from light mode to dark mode on iPhones;

  1. Open Settings App
  2. Tap on Display & brightness
  3. Turn on Automatic under appearances
  4. Tap on options and select custom schedule
  5. Set Start and End time

Dark mode will turn on at the scheduled time automatically for you.
