3 ways you can gather customer feedback on Instagram for your Small Business

What are some of the ways you use to gather feedback from your customers on Instagram? How do you know your product/ service is meeting their expectations and thoughts?

As a small business, improving customer satisfaction should be your key focus that is why it is important to use social media to interact with customers as it provides a sort of “familiar grounds” for your audience.

According to HubSpot, Instagram has over 1 billion users worldwide, with an average user spending at least 53mins on the social media platform.

It becomes no surprise when businesses use this channel to collect information & general feedback from their customers.

Here is how we can use Instagram to collect customer feedback for your business

Use Instagram Question stickers to collect information from your customers: This is a very powerful tool that is helping businesses take suggestions from their customers. As a business, when you post a story on Instagram about your product, you can add these question stickers with a simple question. A beverage store can ask simple questions like, “what is your typical order for a hot Monday afternoon?”. Always remember to keep the questions short but open-ended. You can share screenshots of replies to your story.

Emoji slider: Since its launch in 2018, Businesses are using emoji sliders on Instagram to find customers’ true feelings they have on a particular product or service. Top brands like ASOS uses emoji stickers in their stories to allow customers to rate their products and share their thoughts on them. At the end of the poll, you may find the average feedback from your audience. Kindly note that to get accurate answers from your customers, you need to ask them questions that are related to your product or services.

Sponsor of Giveaways: Lastly businesses can use giveaways on Instagram to take feedback from their audience. You can do this by letting your followers share their thoughts on your product as a way to enter the competition. If you are not a big brand with a massive following, you can use the services of top influencers who will share your product with a “how to enter competition” section by letting their followers comment about what they love about your product in order to join the draw.
